Kantha Stitch Embroidery

Ms. Shyamali Gupta, Secretary being felicitated at a workshop in Kantha Stitch Embroidery Center The Project started in 2001 with the aid of Minority Development and Finance Corporation, West Bengal where the Muslim girls and women are being taught about Embroidery work on the clothes with special hand knitting expertise. More than 180 girls have been trained and certificates for completion of course were given to them.

It is worth to mention that 10 of these successful candidates have been sanctioned loan at our earnest effort for opening their enterprise and each of them is established today. The Technical teachers Training Institute, Government of India were impressed on our effort and they have sanctioned the running expenses of the center through Jodhpur Community Polytechnique, Kolkata.
