Sarba Siksha Abhijan (Educational movement for all)

We have running a school for the slow runners or the drop outs at four centers in Kolkata as a part of "Education for all" program of Government of West Bengal. Students (both male and female) between the age group of 9 -14 are the members of this programs at four centers where the specialized teachers conduct classes for the school drop outs and the slow learners to ensure that literacy movement by the government become successful.

In collaboration with City Level Plan of Action (CIPOA), KSCRI has been running five free schools at the different places in Kolkata to provide primary level education to the children whose families belong to under poverty level and also in red light area. The schools are at

A total of of about 250 boys and girls students have been studying in these schools. We provide them mid-day meal that meets the nutritional deficiency to the children and bring back the instinct urge of studying. We arrange for yearly sports and other curricular activities. As a part of Sarba Sikhsha Abhijan we have arranged three tire level  of sports in 2008 – at NGO level, zone level and district level. Our students won prizes in the zone and district levels that show that they are inspired.
