A Synopsis

In our short span of existence, we took up survey activities on different aspect of the community of which the major ones are:

  • Pilot Survey at Sagar Block of District South 24 Parganas of West Bengal with the people who have lost their foothold due to continuous erosion of tidal wave of sea and awaiting rehabilitation. Having been bestowed the confidence of Jadvapur University, Kolkata Department of Oceanography, we carried on survey on 300 such families and assisted the government authorities in their rehabilitation and made specific survey on their health, finance, natural fuel used by them other than felling trees and livelihood.

  • Netaji Institute of Asean Studies Kolkata gave a project for survey on the socio economic condition and the relative change in the life style in a span of 25 years on the female slum dwellers in the age group 35 - 60 years. In a record period of time we had made extensive survey on 900 such female slum dwellers with invaluable information that helped them to arrive a conclusion for a larger social project. Thanks to them for choosing us as the right association to carry on the assignment by our team members themselves unlike some of the organization who carry on the survey with the help of professional surveyors.

  • Vidya Sagar University of Midnapore in West Bengal wanted to make a survey on the life style of the maid servants and their well and woe. After having a rigorous screening, we were selected to take up the assignment. We have made comprehensive survey on 350 maid servants in Kolkata metropolis and Kharagpur town in two months time and submitted our real life report that is still remembered by the University.
